The Sick Kids Friends Foundation has appointed 39steps as their design and marketing partner on a retained basis.
Following on from a well-received redesign of their member magazine last autumn, Edinburgh-based charity, the Sick Kids Friends Foundation (SKFF) has appointed 39steps Ltd to take care of their ongoing design and marketing requirements for the year.
The charity runs a number of high-profile fundraising events as well as smaller initiatives to encourage businesses and individuals to help continue their valuable work supporting the Royal Hospital for Sick Kids.
With work on the SKFF’s summer fundraising project already underway, Julie Diver, MD of 39steps said:
"We’re delighted to have SKFF on board. In a world where so many good causes exist, we understand the challenges that charities have in getting their message across, as we have a number of clients in the sector, including the Scottish SPCA, EMMS and the Scotland Malawi Partnership.
Having had cause to use the services at Sick Kids with my own child, I appreciate all the more the valuable work SKFF does and it’s great to be part of the new chapter in the organisation’s history."
Roslyn Neeley, CEO of SKFF said:
"The Sick Kids Friends Foundation is very pleased to be working with Julie and the team at 39steps. We exist to transform the experiences of children and young people in hospital so they can be a child first and a patient second. This is only possible through the generous charitable support that the public give us each year and it is important that our materials clearly highlight to them the difference which their support makes. Our new refreshed design which 39steps has created helps us to demonstrate our impact and hopefully attract new support."
The charity is taking registrations for upcoming events which can be found here: http://www.edinburghsickkids.org/events/
Meantime, 39steps is interested in hearing from Heads of Fundraising / Marketing in other charities who are looking to review their design requirements for the year ahead.
39steps is a brand and marketing agency based in Edinburgh. Established in 2003, the team work with clients across Scotland, such as, Scottish SPCA, Luca’s Ice Cream, Wm Purves Group and Thomson Gray.
