My most favourite book is by Frank Schatzing, “Der Schwarm”.
The book is about that the sea had enough damage and disturbance by human, and the sea itself start proceed its revenge in very smart way. The most Scandinavian counties get swiped away, the whales start attacking the ships in Canada, then the best part is that the massive methane hydrate start collapsing and thousands would die. It’s a epic super disaster novel when I read it. However last a few years significant climate change, this book is not a scientific-fi fiction anymore!
