There may be places you’ve been but never seen, if you know what I mean. That is to say, perhaps you’ve lived in a city, but never quite got around to doing that thing that visitors get around to doing during their short stay — because you’ve always had plenty of time to get around to doing that thing… eventually, one day.
Let’s say you lived in Edinburgh and never ventured up Scott Monument. That would be a fine example indeed. Safe to say, it is worth the visit. The view is quite special and I didn’t fall off — not even once! Next on the list is the castle. I hear it’s quite good.
